113 : The Plague Upon The Cattle
Then God said to Moses: "Go to Pharaoh and tell him that the Lord says, 'Let my people go, so
that they may serve me. If you refuse, the hand of the Lord shall be upon your cattle, upon the horses, the asses, the camels, the oxen and the sheep. There shall be a terrible plague. But the Lord shall separate the cattle of Israel from the cattle of Egypt, and nothing shall die that belongs to the
children of Israel.'"
And the Lord appointed a set time, saying, "Tomorrow I shall do this thing."
And on the following day, all the cattle of Egypt died.
But not one of the cattle of the children of Israel died.
Pharaoh sent his messengers to see, yet still his heart was hardened, and he did not let the people go.
THE PLAGUE OF SORES
So God said to Moses and to Aaron: "Take handfuls of ashes from the furnace,
and let Moses sprinkle them in the air in the sight of Pharaoh.
They shall become fine dust throughout the land of Egypt, and they shall become sores upon man and upon beast throughout the land."
They took ashes from the furnace and stood before Pharaoh.
And Moses sprinkled them in the air, and they caused sores to break out upon man and upon beast.
The magicians could not stand before Moses because of the sores,
for they were on the magicians and on all the Egyptians.
But still Pharaoh's heart was hardened and he would not listen to them, as the Lord had said.
