492 : Paul Continues To Corinth

492 : Paul Continues To Corinth

AFTER these things, Paul departed from Athens and came to Corinth.
And he argued in the synagogue every sabbath and persuaded the Jews and Greeks.

When Silas and Timothy arrived from Macedonia,
Paul was engaged in testifying to the Jews that Jesus was Christ.

And Crispus, the chief ruler of the synagogue, believed in the Lord with all his household,
and many of the Corinthians hearing believed, and were baptized.
And he continued  there a year and six months, teaching the word of God among them.
And after this Paul took his leave of the brethren and sailed from there to Syria.

And he came to Ephesus, where he entered into the synagogue and reasoned with the Jews.
When they asked him to stay a longer time, he did not consent, but bade them farewell,
saying, "I must by all means keep this feast that is coming in Jerusalem.
But I will return again to you, if it is God's will."

And he sailed from Ephesus.
