391 : The Wise Man And His House On The Rocks
"NOT everyone that says to me,'Lord, Lord,' shall enter into the kingdom of heaven,
but he shall that does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
Many will say to me that day, 'Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name,
and in your name cast out demons, and in your name done many wonderful works?'
And then I will say to them, 'I never knew You.
Depart from me, You that practice evil.'
"Therefore, whoever hears these sayings of mine, and does them,
I will liken to a wise man who built his house upon a rock.
The rain came down, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house,
but it did not fall, for it was founded upon a rock.
And every one that hears these sayings of mine and does them not,
shall be like a foolish man who built his house upon the sand.
And the rain came down, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house,
and it fell. And great was the fall of it."
And it came to pass, when Jesus had ended these sayings,
the people were astonished at his doctrine.
For he taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes.
