132-133 : The Defeat At Amalek
AMALEK came with his army and attacked the people of Israel as they camped
And Moses said to Joshua:"Choose men and go out and fight with Amalek.
Tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in my hand."
So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek.
And Moses, Aaron and Hur went up to the top of the hill.
And it came to pass that when Moses held up his hand,
Israel was victorious, and when he let down his hand, Amalek was victorious.
But Moses' hands became weary, so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it.
And Aaron and Hur held up his hands, the one on the one side and the other on the other.
Thus Moses' hands were steady until the going down of the sun.
And Joshua defeated Amalek and his people.
